After Hours

After Hours is a mobile application [prototype] that allows college students to combat food waste by requesting the leftover food produced by local restaurants. Users place orders on their phone and then pick up their meals from the unique and secure food lockers located next to the participating restaurant.  With After Hours, restaurants are able to safely and sanitarily store their leftover food that would otherwise be thrown away. Struggling students can then pick up the food themselves and feed their hunger without hurting their wallets.
